The interior was stunning, my personal dream interior! Lake was so beautiful as well! That being said, I do not recommend anyone use the red Kayak unless they’re child size. Which was unfortunate considering as a couple, we couldn’t do that together and that was very disappointing bc that’s about the only thing to do there and we couldn’t. But, nice place. Be careful on the outside steps!!

This place is heaven! And that is saying something as it's in the beautiful state of Michigan, where we love to spend a few summer days every year and every part of Michigan we've visited in all the years has been nothing short of stunning! But this time around we decided to visit during a snowy weekend and the place did not disappoint! The view from the deck onto the frozen lake, each day a different pattern forming on the frozen lake as temps, wind directions changed, was very beautiful to gaze upon with a cup of coffee. The place was very cozy, beautifully put together and comfortable for the 4 of us plus our 10month old baby, a dog and a cat! Definitely coming back in the summer to explore the lake in the kayaks, as well as surrounding towns! P.S. The Mexican restaurant El Patron Grill in Gaylord is a must visit! Best Mexican cuisine we've had for a long time!

Wonderful place to stay for a winter girls trip! Kristen’s place was clean, cozy, and perfect for my friends and I. Would absolutely stay here again!

Stayed for New Years with my husband, 14 month old, and our dog. The place was just as cute as pictured and spotlessly clean. We had everything we needed for our stay and the local host dropped off firewood for $5 a bundle (more than enough for a roaring fire for the night!) We loved the quiet and serene lake. Would love to come back in summertime to get the full experience with the kayaks!
