Geneen was a terrific host. She took us in last minute and even gave us a tour of her beautiful home upstairs which we were awestruck by!!! Our unit was without an oven, but Geneen invited us up to warm our food in oven upstairs. There is a cook top to use though and plenty of cooking pots and utensils in the unit. We very much enjoyed chatting and getting to know more about the nuances of what living on Gabriola was like. Definitely don’t leave without spending sometime on her deck. The copper red and pink sun setting through the trees and along the wide ocean horizon was very memorable. So a very affordable place to stay and yet get that $1000 view up top. So don’t be shy and get up on that humungous deck. Geneen is an extrovert and loves company so chat the night away and make a new friend as we did. Thanks Geneen.
