Comfortable, peaceful 3 bedroom home (with optional 4th bedroom available upon request) on nature's doorstep in a quiet neighborhood next to the beautiful Anacortes Community Forest Lands. A perfect home base to explore all that nature and local culture have to offer in the area, including Fidalgo Island, Washington Park, Deception Pass, Guemes Island, Whidbey Island, Old Town Anacortes, whale watching on Puget Sound, and beyond. The ferry from Anacortes is the gateway to the San Juan Islands. Our part-time home (so we can visit our son, daughter-in-law, and grandson) is a two story home in a nice, quiet neighborhood next to the Anacortes Community Forest Lands, but also close to town. The main living area is upstairs, with a full kitchen, dining area, and living room that are open as a single great room, which makes it nice and comfortable for visiting. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs, one with a king bed, one with a queen bed, and one with two twin beds. If extra space is needed for extra guests, there is a fourth bedroom downstairs with a queen bed that can be made available if requested in advance (so we can make sure it is all ready). All of the beds are new and comfy. There are two full bathrooms. The one upstairs has a tub and shower. The downstairs bathroom also has a shower. There is a laundry room downstairs with washer and dryer. There is an upper deck off the living area overlooking the back yard as well as a lower deck/patio in the back yard.
