Stunning quiet location; family feel with a cozy communal lounge for Airbnb guests. Felt like home. Beds, linens and pillows were extremely comfortable! Had a terrific night sleep and woke up to the sweet farm-life sounds. We were also treated to a beautiful dinner as the owner’s restaurant (Starfish in Tarbert) was not yet open for the season. Kat and Andrea graciously offered to host a dinner of fresh local cuisine. The breakfast Andreas cooked the next morning before our sail to Islay was absolutely fabulous. Highly recommend this beautiful off the beaten path BnB!
I loved this accommodation. Our hosts even came out in the dark and rain to meet us. Our room and en suite felt very luxurious. I loved sitting in the lounge in the evening with the fire on listening to music. Didn’t even miss the telly. Breakfast was delicious. Definitely recommend here and the surrounding area was beautiful.

La casa è situata in una zona tranquilla lontana dai classici itinerari turistici scozzesi. La stanza e il bagno sono ampi, puliti e confortevoli. La spiaggia di Westport e il Skipness Castle nei dintorni sono da non perdere. Grazie Andrea e Kat perché ci avete accolto come in famiglia e ci siamo sentiti a casa.
Andrea's cooking is absolutely top notch, breakfast was always a treat. We also opted to dine in one night and it was incredible! He's so friendly it was like eating at a friend's house, if that friend was also a top notch chef!! Kat and Andrea were excellent hosts. Their attention to detail was fantastic, both the house and our room were beautiful.

Hosts since 2022. Being ex-city dwellers ourselves, my husband Andrea and I have absolutely fallen in love with country life. Once we traded the alarm clock in for the cockerel crow, there was no going back for us. We bought the Farmhouse in 2019 and we are doing most of the renovation works by ourselves over the winters, so we are still very much a work in progress. We feel extremely lucky for having the chance to witness the birth of a lamb from our sitting room window, as well as watching the occasional cabaret unintentionally provided by some bickering geese. We hope our guests will also experience and appreciate a bit of Ronachan life.
