We had a very nice stay at the Rock House. Checking in & out was easy. Instructions were clear. There was no ridiculous list of chores to do. Towels were plentiful, and the beds & linens were very comfortable. There were also lots of considerate touches like charging stations, a toy horde (which my kid loved), tons of toiletries... There was even a stash of fruit, snacks & drinks provided! The only spot where things were lacking was in the kitchen. The appliances and pots & pans were great but some smaller kitchen hand tools and proper kitchen knives were missing. Almost all the dishware was disposable too (but there were "real" mugs & flatware). If you're planning to eat out or order in most of the time - like we did - none of this should be a real issue for you, but if you're hoping to cook a lot, you'll probably be frustrated. Still, I would happily stay here again. It was very pleasant overall, and I loved having a nice park across the street and an Aldi a 5-min walk away!

Franklin goes WAY above & beyond with his RockHouse BnB! Though small, this house can sleep a lot of people (we were only 3) and it’s located right across the street from a good sized city park. Franklin was super responsive and proactive with his communications. You can tell he takes pride in this property - there are house specific mementos in just about every room. Every room has a charging block with every cable known to man already there. And in the house rules it said something like “help yourself to the food or drinks”. I’ve seen that comment before and usually there will be a couple waters in the fridge and maybe a snack size bag of pretzels or something. Not the case here - fridge full of different drinks and a counter full of snacks, fruit, mints, etc! Very cool touch for people who are visiting from out of town! I really appreciate this place! Thanks for letting us stay while we visited our son at WashU!

The place was very clean. Franklin had children’s toys that my kids loved playing with while we were at the house. He also had so many snacks for us to have while we were there. The kids and myself loved that. He even went above and beyond when I forgot the baby monitor. He is mailing it to me at no charge. Would definitely recommend this place.
