We would like to say a big thank you to Claire. Butchers Cottage was a great place to stay, even better than advertised. It was clean, comfortable, beautifully furnished and very well equipped. Unfortunately as the weather was a bit cool and damp we didn’t get an opportunity to make use of the outdoor dining/seating area but the views of the Severn made up for that. We liked the fact that it was only a short walk to shops, restaurants and pubs in Ironbridge, as well as some of the museums. The parking permit was a bonus and the welcome bottle of wine a lovely touch. Claire gave us plenty of info regarding parking and accessing the property. We can thoroughly recommend this property and it’s host.

A lovely unusual property, right in the heart of Ironbridge. We had a little trouble with the lounge patio door due to the wet weather but a little weight from the outside did the trick. We had a lovely welcoming bottle of wine and the lounge was warm and cosy. The parking permits are so handy.

Very well equipped house, with lovely garden going down to the river; two terraces we could have sat out on. (sadly, a lot of rain.) Comfortable bedding

Cosy, clean and comfortable cottage in a central location, ideal for exploring Ironbridge. We used the car park pass and were able to park in short stay car park opposite to unload and then left the car in the long stay Ironbridge car park until we left. We visited museums on foot.
