We had a great time at Rose Villa. You’ll need to catch a Tuk-tuk from town as it’s too far to walk, but it’s very cheap to do so, just around 300LKR if you use pick me app. The owner is incredibly friendly and very accommodating. If you’re staying in Kandy, then definitely consider this place for somewhere away from the hustle and bustle.

The accommodation was really really great. And Pathmi was a great host. There was some confusion with the swimming pool timings but they understood our concern and tried to resolve it the best they could that was nice. There was some minor things like inadequate towels etc, but all that can be attributed to they being new hosts, but when I told them about it, they fixed it immediately. All in all it we had a great time staying there, and we will visit again!

This place gets a 10 out of 10 for customer service. The family was very hospitable and kind. They were available to help us with any need. The house itself is adequate for what we needed, but not luxurious. If you are wanting a good place with a very friendly host, this is a great option. If you are wanting to be pampered…maybe not.

We loved the stay at Rose hill villa. Wonderful place, easy access to Kandy town and other local amenities. We had everything we wanted. We have a toddler and we had the safety we needed. Very friendly and hospitable host. Recommend to any one who wants to spend few days in Kandy. We will definitely come back.!
