Great stay, Mark and Mini were great host. Very flexible and understanding, I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

There are 2 hosts, Mark and Georgia. Georgia is very friendly and tries to help. On the other hand, Mark is bad at communicating and is passive aggressive. There has been a lot of air conditioning problems and Mark denied the issues even when he felt hot air coming out the vents of my room (#1A). Eventually they moved me to a different room (#3X). There are two houses on the property, the main house in the front (#1A, B, C, D, M, Q) and the back house (#2I, P, V connected to #3X, 3Y). The back house shares a kitchen and bathroom that are located in #3. After meeting my new neighbors I learned that they all had complaints about the air conditioning, sewer, etc. The couple next to me even had to stay in a different place for a week because the air conditioning wasn't working (this was before I moved there). Because the property is under renovation, the whole place is VERY dusty and there is a trench between the front and back houses. They eventually fixed the air conditioning and changed to new, REMOTELY CONTROLLED thermostats. Mark set the temperature to 78, which is quite high but maybe understandable considering the outside temperature is 20~30 degrees hotter. BUT he sneakily set it to 82 during bedtime from around 11:30pm~5:30am to try to save money and it was unbearably hot and hard to sleep. He only changed it back several days after when the tenants complained. In terms of location, it is about a 10 minute drive to downtown so it's pretty okay. The cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired as it is totally up to the previous occupants and your neighbors whether your place is clean or not. There are a lot of bugs and even though there is a cleaning fee it seems they don't clean at all even after a tenant leaves (according to my neighbors). Another thing is that there is no cold water, even in the showers, so you will be hot after taking a shower, which can be very annoying. Also note that Mark comes on the property often because of all the renovations and he enters the places unannounced. ONE TIME HE EVEN BARGED INTO MY ROOM WITHOUT KNOCKING as he said he "forgot" that someone was staying in the room. Was totally unacceptable. Be sure to buy a new lock and change it and to always lock your room even when you are inside. Now the place can be a great value if you are only looking for a cheap, affordable long term stay as this is one of the best bargains/prices that you can find. So, if you are outside most of the time and just need a place to sleep, then this could be what you are looking for. Otherwise, book at your own risk as you never know what issue might arise. Just wish Georgia was the main host as she is so nice and really wants to resolve problems.
