We had a wonderful stay in Varenna ! The apartment was within easy walking distance to the boat port to pick up the ferry and walk into town centre was very easy. You could also walk along the water’s edge to numerous restaurants and cafes. We had dinner late one night and strolled back to the apartment and felt very safe. The apartment was clean and very tidy , we had a lovely bottle of wine and a goodie basket supplied ! Overall the experience was wonderful, we enjoyed the ferry trip around lake Como and loved visiting Villa Balbiano its was stunning! We will recommend Anna’s place to friends and family Thanks Anna

Our recent stay at this charming Airbnb was an absolute delight from start to finish! From the moment we stepped foot into the apartment, we were blown away by the warm and inviting atmosphere. This review is our way of expressing our appreciation to Anna for the wonderful experience we had during our stay. Anna was a fantastic host from the minute we booked to stay at her apartment. She was always very responsive, providing us clear instructions for check-in. Anna also provided us with restaurant recommendations, taxi transfers and much more! The location was ideal, as it allowed for easy access to the main attractions in the area. It was close enough to the heart of the city while still being in a quiet neighborhood, providing the best of both worlds. Overall, our stay was perfect and a lot of that was due to Anna’s amazing hospitality! We will definitely be booking again with Anna as I think it will be hard to beat a better place to stay in terms of both location and host!

We are a family of four that stayed at Anna’s place in Varenna - a PERFECT location!! A small grocery-convenience store and cafe are steps away, a 5-minute walk to the ferry and Varenna Rent a Boat (which I highly recommend!), and a beautiful walk into the town square. The apartment has a view of the lake where each day we could relax and enjoy snacks & meals, including seeing lovely sunsets. Full kitchen (just purchase some napkins or paper towels) and Anna thoughtfully provided essentials: salt/pepper/olive oil and extras - cookies and Nutella etc ; all our towels were laid out with packages of soap, shampoo, and lotion. Anna is very responsive and helped us out with all our questions and needs with easy check-in and check-out. I highly recommend Maji Como Lake Varenna for your stay in this area!

The location was perfect. Very close to Varenna Ensino train so you don’t need to roll suitcases through the town and stairways. She had everything we needed and included a welcome basket. She communicated with us before and during our trip to make sure we had everything. Tip: Go to the train station for breakfast it’s an easy walk and delicious. We hope to be able to visit again.
