Ocean View Lodge is an Exquisite Lodge in Doolin Village. We offer stunning views in an amazing location. Enjoy a private hot tub, on your private deck overlooking the Ocean. While infants under 12 months are welcome, our lodge is not suitable for families with young children, and unfortunately, we cannot accommodate children under 10 yrs old. Rest and recharge with family or friends in absolute comfort at this stunning Lodge in Doolin Village. Herringbone floors, heaps of natural light, and an indulgent private outdoor hot tub combine with village and ocean views. It‘s the perfect base to rest and recharge. Located in Doolin village at the start of the amazing Cliffs of Moher coastal walk, Ocean View Lodge occupies three floors. The Lodge is accessed via two flights of stairs leading to an expansive private deck with hot tub and stunning views of the Atlantic and Fisherstreet with its now-famous thatched cottages. It’s the best address in Doolin. The ground floor features a large fully equipped open-plan designer kitchen and dining room with panoramic views of the village and ocean. (The fireplace is for decorative purposes only) A staircase leads to a large lounge with comfy couches and a picture window looking out over the Atlantic. The first floor contains two sumptuous bedrooms providing exceptionally comfortable sleeping. One king-size room and one twin room each with a private bathroom. A second King room is available as an alternative. Towels are supplied. Daily housekeeping is available on request. This lodge is available as a two-bedroom and four-bedroom property. By renting it as a two-bedroom property you will be the only guests. The other bedrooms will be closed off. There is a small grocery shop in Doolin, however for more choice, it might be best to pick up what food or snack items you need on the way in Ennistymon. We recommend the Cheese Press for local cheese, smoked fish, and bread, the Market House for meats and deli items and Supervalu for everything else. This place was awesome and just the place we needed after a few days of exploring Ireland. Location is fantastic. Darra was super friendly, responsive, and full of great tips for making the best of our visit. Go here. You won’t be disappointed.
Book this place! We recommend traveling to West Ireland to see the amazing Burren and Cliffs of Moher, and this house is perfectly located. It looks even better than the photos- everything is immaculate, newly finished and minimal but tasteful decor keep it cozy and comfortable. And the view! Sit in the window seat and watch the surf and the beautiful town. Darra and Niall could not be more friendly or helpful- they were full of great suggestions of places to visit and restaurants- we recommend you take them! all were amazing. Hosts were friendly and available at any time for touring help or anything we needed. Darra even loaned me a wash up kit for my muddy boots so I could repack them- the cliffs walk leaves right from your front door! We stayed as a family of four with 2 college students and we all agree “11 out of 10”. It was worth every penny to have such an amazing experience. If you have a larger group and plan to cook some meals this is also a great kitchen/dining space.

We love the Ivy Cottage which is set by the river in beautiful surroundings Just a 2-minute walk from your Lodge it's a great place for lunch or dinner. They are best known for their chowder and fresh locally sourced seafood.

Doolin is one hour northwest of Shannon Airport and approximately three and a half hours from Dublin Airport. Private Drive Chauffeur Services are available for airport transfers. Please contact us for details.
If you are flying into Ireland try to Fly into Shannon as it is a lot more convenient. Taxis, car hire, and a bus service to Doolin are available from Shannon Airport. Once in Doolin, it's possible to walk to most things and local taxis can be booked usually with a few hour's notice.
There is a public bus serving the Cliffs of Moher Experience. It's also possible to hike along the Cliffs of Moher and get a taxi - bus back to Doolin.
Doolin Harbour for ferries to the Aran Islands and Cliffs of Moher is a 15-minute walk from your lodge. Use the discount code seaviewhouse to save 10% on ferry tickets.
If you want to explore the Burren you will need a bicycle or car. Bicycle hire is available in Doolin. Private Drive Chauffeur Services to tour the Burren need to be pre-booked.

We have three properties in Dooiln village. Ocean View Lodge, Fisherstreet Lodge, Castle View Lodge, and Horseshoe House. All with stunning views and in the best locations. All our properties are approved and inspected by Failte Ireland, Ireland's national tourism body. SUSTAINABLE TOURISM: We are also passionate about sustainable tourism. We believe that ecotourism is the way for Doolin and the Burren and Cliffs of Moher Geopark to develop tourism in a sustainable way. We try to consider the environment in all that we do. It is absolutely vital that we look towards long term, sustainable solutions that protect our outdoor spaces and minimize harmful CO2 emissions. We use technology and practices to minimize our impact on the environment helping to inspire others in our industry to take similar actions. This allows us provide luxury accommodation for our guests, while also sticking to our sustainable ethos. We are committed to reducing the impact our business has on the environment. USE OF RENEWABLE ENERGY To minimize our CO2 emissions, Sea View House primarily uses renewable energy sources. Photovoltaic solar panels convert energy from the sun into electricity which is stored in our battery bank and used to run our hot tubs and provide electricity to the lodges. Flatplate solar collectors convert energy from the sun providing hot water for Lodge bathrooms and kitchens. We use BIO LPG produced from renewable feedstocks such as plant and vegetable waste material to heat the lodges. We have also taken steps to lower energy consumption throughout our properties, using advanced heating controls, LED lighting, motion-sensitive lighting and lots of insulation. Furthermore we replace our vehicles with fully electric models. ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING STATIONS We are pleased to offer EV-Charger points for the exclusive use of our lodge guests. Eco solar-powered charges are available as well as faster 7kw mains powered charges if required. SUSTAINABLE PRACTICES Sea View House uses various sustainable practices. All trash is separated into various streams for recycling, reducing the volume going to landfill. We give some food waste to our flock of chickens while the rest is composted on site for use in our gardens. We minimize our use of single-use plastic and do not use single-serve toiletries. BURREN ECOTOURISM NETWORK We are long-standing members of The Burren Ecotourism Network. The Burren Ecotourism Network is a network of tourism enterprises with the objective of establishing the Burren as a premier internationally-recognized sustainable tourism region ensuring the future economic and social growth and sustainable development of its communities, environment, and heritage.
