Escape your worries in this spacious and serene space on 2nd floor. Delightful & cozy room near the lakes in central Maine with great day trip destinations in every direction. Relax in this fun nautical room with queen bed, sleeper sofa, private bath, table for 4, coffee station, and many amenities. Many great restaurants are just a short drive away. You room is in the newly renovated carriage house of this 1868 historic home. It is on the second floor, at the back of the property where it is peaceful.

This is a quiet, charming town just 10 miles outside of the state capital, Augusta. The mountains & ocean are just a little over an hour away.
Parking is right outside the entrance. Your room is on the second floor. There is a sidewalk for a quick walk down to the lake and our local favorite, The Weathervane Restaurant. Carry out is available just 4 doors away.

My husband, Doug, and I have been restoring this historic gem for many years. In our spare time, we love to kayak, hike, bike, garden, and enjoy the outdoors. We are both from the Midwest and have explored Maine from top to bottom. If you have any questions of where to go or what to do, please ask. If we don’t know, we are happy to find out for you. We want you to enjoy this great state as much as we do.
