Just 5 minutes walk to the beach, at La Casa de Mia you will breathe tranquility, nature, and elegance. You will feel at home in this beautiful house. The House has only 5 rooms, making it a perfect space to relax and feel comfortable. Very spacious rooms and elegant design, each one was individually decorated and equipped. All rooms have green views, an outdoor terrace or balcony, free wi-fi, and a private bathroom. Three rooms are located at the upper floor and two rooms on teh ground floor. The House is located just 5 minutes walking to the beach and two minutes from the area of restaurants and shops. Three rooms are upstairs and two rooms are downstairs. Each room has: Independent Entrance. Safe Mini fridge and coffee maker. Private bathroom with shower. Outdoor seating space ie; balcony or terrace with table and chairs. As common areas, the house has a large terrace with a pool, hammock sun beds and an impressive view of the sunsets. During your stay we have cleaning staff and Tony, the building manager, a friendly local gentleman and his wife can prepare wood-fired fish and lobster for you. (Ask Tony for a price).

Great place to stay if you’re traveling solo or in a group. The host is right on site and readily available to answer any questions. Our favorite part was the location! We were walking distance to everything (beach, restaurants, mini marts) which made it very convenient. Very hospitable and well equipped place.
We booked the entire place for my birthday. Mostly two people per room. Follow the maps link to get there. If you get there after heavy rain I recommend a taxi cause the streets will have puddles. But the actual house is new and pristine. The grounds keeper was there for anything we needed. It’s a good idea if you are a big group to have a designated person to plan the lobster frying that is offered. The family that cares for the property cooked us a feast! We purchased steak and he ordered us fish lobster octopus and they made crab salad and salsa. It was great. I would not recommend as of now for wheelchairs or people who can’t climb steps. The ac worked great. Any issue we had was quickly addressed. The pool area was awesome. Every room has a kitchenette. Walkable distance to the fun spots but far enough to have peace when you’re sleeping. Would totally go back.

La Casa de Mia is located just 5 minute walk from the beach and 5 minute walk from the center and restaurant area, you will be almost around the corner from the best lobster pizzas in Holbox at Roots Pizza, Arte Sano with the best vegan dishes and if you want to eat on the beach; Capitán Capitán Beach Club has the best sushi and cocktails in a very relaxed atmosphere in front of the sea.
Please get informed about lifestyle in Holbox in general, this is an off the grid area and streets in the whole Island are not paved, it has a rural feeling, and this may be charming or annoying depending on your expectations.
To get from the ferry to the house you can easily walk if you do not have very heavy luggage. If you don't want to walk you can take a "taxi" that is a golf cart from the pier. In Holbox, there are no cars, only golf carts or scooters and bicycles, but everything is within walking distance.
In the rainy season, there may be puddles and it is advisable to bring water shoes such as sandals or rubber boots. Throughout the island, the floor is sand, not paved.
We highly recommend taking a taxi (golf cart), from the Ferry to the house, the streets are difficult to walk, especially if you bring suitcases, the taxi charges 100 pesos from the ferry to the house.

My name is Daisy, My colleague Luis and I are hospitality business professionals with over 10 years experience in hospitality and property management, we operate this beautiful house and other beautiful properties in Tulum, Cuyo and Holbox, if you don´t find availability here, or have a big group please let me know, we are always happy to help. We had been succesfully managing La Casa de Mia Holbox since December 2021, this is a newly built brand new house, however we just decided to create this new account to separate the listings from Tulum. ( We had been running the properties in Tulum since 2018). We sadly had to let go all the great reviews our guests had left on the old Airbnb account but we are positive that we will make it even better in this brand new account ( April 15 2022), and continue strive to make your stay in Holbox enjoyable. We have a team of talented and charming people and we will strive to make your stay as happy as you planned it, however, we keep a personal contact with each of our guests and we are always available to attend your needs. Toño and Mariano are the most modest, truthful and friendly people. You will meet Toño at the house and stay in communication with Mariano your concierge via Airbnb.
