We loved our stay. A short walk into town. The only thing missing was a pair of binoculars to watch the boats going past!

We loved our stay at Villa Pachino. The house and bedrooms are more spacious than the photos suggest. The kitchen is fully equipped and the stove top is excellent. Air conditioning in 2 of the bedrooms is fantastic. By far the most impressive part of this property is the expansive sea views and the sea breeze that can blow through from one end to the other - a great relief from the hot summer days.

It's important to note that there is no air conditioning in the main gathering areas (living room, kitchen) and there are no screens on any windows or doors in the living room area, meaning that it house becomes a hot box, trapping hot air. If there were screens on any windows or doors in the main areas, the cool evening breeze would make all the difference. You can't open the windows in the evening (when you return home) because of all the bugs/flys, so the house is incredibly hot. Only the 2 bedrooms have AC or screens. I was such a shame because the evening temperatures in Summer were quite nice, but could not open any windows. Patrick deferred us to email his assistant Judith (a travel agent), which we didn't find super helpful regarding navigating the tricky endeavor of booking ferry tickets (the company doesn't let you book online and you must call, and they rarely answer their phone, and you can't book way in advance). This caused a bit of stress for us, plus hours of calling a ferry company hoping they'd have space for us and our car. Whenever you can book with Levante ferries instead of Ionion P. There was a bit of awkwardness as we reached out to his travel agent, her signature has a London company, regarding booking a property in the future and she wasn't responsive or thorough. This was independent of this rental ( her signature says she works for a travel agency). When I asked her why she didn't send a link or photos for a property she told us about, then said it was no longer available (because she never sent us the link to book), Patrick got involved, which was awkward because it had nothing to do with this booking. From her emails, it seems that she may live on site in a small house next to this one. The house could benefit from an update with the furniture. The couch and chairs resemble older grandparents furniture. The location is great, and the bedroom AC works well. The wifi doesn't work in the main bedroom, but works well from common areas.

Lovely villa, with fantastic views and cool breeze, even on the hottest of days. Comfy and quiet bedrooms. Well equipped, close walk to little town of Frikes with bakery, restaurants and basic groceries. Small perfect beach for a dip in cool blue waters at end of driveway. Good for multi generations but maybe not small children. Highly recommend, thanks!

Patrick's place was the best Airbnb I have ever stayed in. Can't wait to be there again. The location is amazing, the house is even more amazing than the pictures show, and the communication with Patrick and his property manager is great. Thank you Patrick for a wonderful vacation
