Egret Landing is a lakefront house east of Dallas located in the Catfish Capital of Texas. Located on a peninsula, guests will enjoy a full view of Lake Tawakoni. It is the ideal for a weekend getaway with family. UPDATE: Due to heavy wind and floods the pier is broken and inaccessible. the small dock is available for fishing.Indoors, we have windows overlooking the lake. Outside, you’ll enjoy relaxing or fishing on the pier while admiring gorgeous sunsets. Fire pit, BBQ and 3+ acres to roam. Egret Landing is a guest house that shares a wall with the main house. It features a private entrance, two porches and laundry facilities. The living room has a beautiful fireplace surrounded by a wall of petrified wood. In the coffee bar, a collection of family friendly board games can be found. The large dining space and the open concept floor plan make this area ideal for lounging. Each of the three bedrooms have sliding glass doors that open onto the balcony and provide an unobstructed view of the lake. Additionally, there is a fire pit located in the backyard that is great for bonfires and s’mores. An outdoor grill is also provided for fun barbecues. At the back of the property, guests can find a large wooden pier that extends 120 feet into the lake. The lake is a 5 minute walk through our property.
