Clean and quiet place with large living room and kitchen. Fireplace is super efficient

August 2023: 7 of us enjoyed a "Girls' Weekend" in this beautiful house. There are 9 separate beds, so plenty of places to sleep. The house is comfortable, the kitchen is well appointed (including spices) and the area is beautiful. The outdoor fire pit is a bonus! I thought there was an on-site hot tub, but that was my mistake. The beds are comfortable with electric blankets. The large room at the end of the hall has its own door, and would be wonderful for older children. The room has 2 couches, a TV, and 2 very solid bunk beds (all 4 beds are "full" size). It would be a great place for kids to hang out and be away from the adults. There is a large 2-car garage, and room for parking in the driveway. There are adult bikes and inner tubes in the garage. We didn't use them, but they appear to be available for use. In one of the master bedrooms, there is a crib, as well as a small child's bed in the closet. We had a great time and I would highly recommend this house.

While the cabin itself was great, our mood was killed upon arrival. The master bedroom and bath reeked of urine/feces. The shower rug was soaking wet and smelled of bodily fluids. On top of that, all the towels were damp. So rather than enjoy the start of our vacation, we ended up running loads of laundry to clean up after the previous tenants, and being on the phone with Vacasa support. The other issue which I don't blame Vacasa for, was that there are squirrels or rodents in the soffits. We heard them scratching away at night. The cabin itself was nice, spacious, had great amenities. The house could have been better stocked with at least more than a quarter of a paper towel roll, but the rest of the house was decently stocked (tp, shampoo, soap, etc). I will say Vacasa was very responsive in taking my call, but have not yet taken responsibility for what we had to deal with upon arrival. I would expect at least some sort of partial refund.

This place is truly a gem! Appointed with just the right amount of mountain charm and so well kept, it felt more like a home than a flipped rental. Perfect layout for our group of ten— enough living/bathroom space for six adults, two teenage boys, and two 10 year old girls to enjoy both family time and have privacy. The little details included by host exceeded our expectations; master bedroom had a toddler bed, crib, humidifier; there were extra linens in every room; holiday themed decor in drawers, and they even left us 4th of July s’mores supply. Backyard leads out into a clearing that makes you feel like you’re sitting in a meadow when you’re on deck. Gas fire pit table was perfect for playing charades around while barbecuing in the evening. Great location next to the golf course, short drive to community center for pool and covered jacuzzi, close to town for grocery or hardware store run, and easy access to highway 89 to chase down river adventure. So impressed!
