I have stayed at a few other Vacasa properties before. Unfortunately, I do not recommend this one. My partner & 11 yo son opted to stay in the 3rd BR downstairs to allow my other family members the upstairs. After all the excitement, things started to stand out. Literally. Cob webs everywhere. Multiple spiders jumping out of the curtains when you slide them open & closed, crawling all over the ceilings, near where we slept. We killed at least a dozen of them! There is a creepy door next to the bed I'm not sure why it opens, but don't! Unless you want to see nightmares where you sleep. The door doesn't seal shut properly. Must be where the spiders come in. The gas heater was especially difficult to turn on when you needed to get warm. We didn't make it downstairs past the 1st night because of all the heebiejeebies. Upstairs wasn't much better either! Pet hair and pet urine all over the carpets, on our clothes, & socks. I voiced our concerns & no one responded. Cleanliness 0/10.

House allows pets, but we found lots of pet hair in every bed. There was not enough plates for our guests. And I didn’t find the clean dishes that were in the dishwasher until the 3rd day. No spices or seasonings to cook with. Driveway is a little sketchy in the winter, so are the steps leading up to the house. But the house was large, and close to several ski resorts, grocery stores, and restaurants.

The fire in Yosemite a week ago, so the smoke and haze affected South lake Tahoe, we were about to cancel the trip but end up we got there to try our luck. We were so happy staying in the house, it's clean, clear instructions, well prepared in the kitchen and room, the host was very quick response to us, our dogs and kids had so much fun in the house, but one thing the driveway is steep so we have to be careful, one of Tesla got scratched the bottom a little bit at first, we need to backward very slow. we tried to contact for the late check out, it didn't work because of the rule from the host.
