Very peaceful location and ideally situated for exploring Nottinghamshire. Short drive to Sherwood Forest, Clumber Park and Rufford Abbey. Chalet had everything needed for a comfortable stay

We really enjoyed our stay. Great communication from host. Host/staff on site were very friendly and helpful. The lodge is positioned really well, so you’re very private. Nice touch that we received dog biscuits and a dog towel on arrival. The lodge is spacious and comfortable…. Comfortable beds! Everything you need in the kitchen, we cooked and stayed in twice and it was easy enough. Nice hot tub on private decking, a lovely sunny spot later afternoon/evening. We felt the lodge was clean enough but wasn’t to high standards we’ve had elsewhere. The hoover and brush/shovel provided wasn’t in great condition, dirty and old, personally I felt these needed updating. We loved exploring Sherwood Forest and felt the lodge was in a brilliant place to allow this.

really nice place, luxury and private. had everything we needed, hot tub was great. Only comment is that the postcode was about a mile out so we had to pull over and search the site itself but that wasn't a problem as once we did that we found it easily. dog biscuits were a nice touch. warm, cosy, close to lots of nice walks, friendly site staff.

A delightful little gem and a perfect weekend getaway. We took our gravel bikes to explore both Sherwood Pines and Sherwood Forest and the location was perfect. The accommodation was quiet, clean and nicely equipped. I would highly recommend this for a family or two couples.

Wonderful restful stay. Lodge very pleasant with super comfy beds. Hot tub and view to autumn colours in the trees was dreamy! Would definitely stay again.
