We spent a lovely week in Roberto’s apartment! Nadia greeted us and was friendly as well as knowledgeable about the area; hosts were always quick to respond. Apartment was very clean and comfortable, stocked with all that we could imagine needing (e.g. olive oil, coffee and even a fly swatter though we never needed it), and with balconies positioned so that one could sit in the sun or find shade as you wish. Great location: 2 minutes to neighborhood bar for coffee & pastries in the morning, salumeria & mid-sized supermarket; 5 minutes walk to train and bus station with easy access to central Rome and to airport; 10 minutes walk to pedestrian-only streets in town center and to beaches … and yet the apartment itself is located in a quiet residential area away from tourist area. For us it was all perfect!

My first time using Airbnb. Extremely friendly and responsive host - very easy communication. Flat was clean and well equipped. Quiet. Well located for supermarkets. Shower pressure was low, but I think it's just an old building. Location of flat was perfect for my needs (which is why I chose it, even though it was quite a lot more expensive than other options). Ostia area - surprised, badly maintained pavements, lots of litter and dog mess, generally just not clean, maybe they spruce it up for the high season?

Spacious, modern 4th-floor flat with air-conditioning and large balconies. Not far from the centre or sea and in a nice area. Perfect!
