We loved the cottage and the location. It has lots of character and we saw some stunning sunsets over the sea from the conservatory. The kitchen is very well equipped and the bathroom is huge. We loved the fact we could leave the car and walk into Porthgain, straight onto the coastal path for some beautiful cliff top walks. We saw lots of seals and seal pups on the walk. It’s a shame the pub in Porthgain isn’t dog friendly but we visited The Ship Inn in nearby Trefin instead. The only negative is the main bedroom in the cottage smells a bit musty so they could do with adding some air fresheners but everything else was lovely.

Peaceful and relaxing place to unwind. Very quiet location. Directions to property were spot on. Kitchen had lots of equipment for cooking/ dining in. TV reception very hit and miss especially itv. Dvd player with a small selection so would recommend taking some with you. Would also recommend taking all your supplies as didnt see any local shop close by, but we did see a home delivery van one day on the lane. Also if you thinking of using the washer or dishwasher take your own detergent as none were supplied but i always take a bag of products with us. One thing I really liked was that there wasn't a cupboard full of food stuffs that previous guests had left, as you never know how long they have been there.All in all we had a lovely stay and came home very chilled.
