We were traveling from Rome, and Kaila and Ludo’s charming home was exactly what we needed from the busy city. When we arrived I nearly teared up it was so beautiful. You can really tell they have put a lot of love and care both inside and outside of their home. The grounds were so peaceful, and we were the only guests staying here at the time so we had the pool to ourselves. Kaila was very helpful with her recommendations. There are lots of really great restaurants in the area, and she even offered to help us make reservations if we needed. Some of the wifi coverage was a bit spotty at times, which I’m sure is normal for remote areas, but we didn’t mind as we were able to truly enjoy the countryside beauty we were surrounded by. We would absolutely come back to this place, I think it’s been my favorite airbnb we’ve stayed at. Thank you Kaila and Ludo for your wonderful hospitality.

Kaila & Ludo made us feel right at home. They were so accommodating to our family & went the extra mile for our 10 month old baby. They made sure we had what we needed for our stay & booked reservations for us at a local winery and Easter lunch at Be Happy restaurant. We are so appreciative of their hospitality and look forward to coming back in the future!

I spent the last days of my Italian vacation at Poggio Belvedere, and it was an absolute dream! The home has a beautiful mix of historical charm, with modern touches. You can clearly see that every design detail has so much care and thought behind it... not to mention, the bed feels like you're sleeping on a cloud. Best sleep ever! The property is so peaceful, with the most stunning views from wherever you stand; it's truly as beautiful as the pictures. However, it was the warm welcome and hospitality from Kaila and Lugo that made my stay at Poggio Belvedere 5 stars. Their clear/prompt communication, kind hearts, local recommendations, and support with my car troubles will forever be appreciated and remembered. I highly, highly recommend this property!

What a gem! Brand new and beautifully decorated, Kaila’s apartment is on the upper floor of a country villa surrounded by olive trees without another house in sight. We were greeted by her property manager Dario who gave us a warm welcome and a tour of the grounds and gave us great local recommendations. Even though Kaila was out of town during our stay, she took the time to book us a wine tasting at a nearby vineyard, which we totally loved. It wasn’t quite warm enough during our visit to use the swimming pool, but we definitely will next time. Looking forward to our next visit, thanks Kaila and Dario!

Kaila and Ludo are "naturals" at hosting guests. Warm, friendly, patient, full of great ideas about what to do, where to go, what to see and most importantly, where to eat! They've done a remarkable job on the renovation of our apt. Loads of italian style, especially in the kitchen and bathroom. You never forget you're in a 17th century structure (which we loved) but with all the modern touches. And the views out every window cannot really be captured in photos. It's as though the background in many renaissance paintings comes to life out your window and as the light changes during the day so does the landscape. The sunrises were spectacular. We will never forget our time there.
