What an amazing stay! The animals were so silly and friendly, and Scott provided us with treats to feed them. The house is beautiful, like staying in a giant antique with all the modern amenities to still be comfortable. I was sad to leave, and can’t wait to come back!

Had a great stay - unique property with fun, rustic decor. Wish we would have had more time to enjoy the surroundings - we were on the go! Would love to stay again - longer next time. Lots of fun snacks and drinks left for us - so nice after a long day on the road!

A unique experience. While the profile did provide plenty of information about the place, it was an even better experience in reality - highly recommend as a rustic getaway. The surroundings were peaceful, and there was something really tranquil about seeing sheep, horses, cows, chickens, and even donkeys going about their day. Our standalone home had a nice enclosed fence with patio furniture - so it was perfect for us to hang out outdoors and the dog could play around the fenced yard without bothering the other animals. The hosts appointed the kitchen and bathrooms well with basics and amenities. The house itself is decorated with plenty of rustic furniture, appliances, signs, and odds-and-ends which added greatly to the total ambience and the experience. And don't mistake "rustic" to mean dated - the kitchen appliances themselves have been remodeled to modern sensibilities. Highly recommend.

We have been there twice and each time the host was very kind and helpful, the cabin has been very clean, the sheets and towels smell fresh and clean, and they always leave snacks and drinks for the kids and coffee for adults. They have friendly animals and board games too. They even left fresh flowers to welcome us.

Alyson and Scott were very detail-oriented not only in their design and furnishings, but also were kind enough to leave some items for us in their refrigerator and even some water and snacks. They had plenty of towels and bath supplies. The beds were comfortable and they even left some wood for us to enjoy the fire pit outside. I would recommend staying there longer to be able to enjoy the home some more along with their river access and kayaks. They also have other cabins available next door.
