What a beautiful cottage, it was comfortable and quiet and felt really warm and cozy. Everything was so clean, bed was comfortable, living area was just the right size and the kitchen spotless. We didnt have to leave, we had everything we could possibly need to make our own meals and wash clothes if needed. I mean Barb provided things we didnt even realize we'd need for a one night, one day trip. Overall it was an awesome stay and we look forward to coming back in the summer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Barbara's cottage on Lake Oquaga. The cottage is well appointed, clean and the bed is extremely comfortable. We loved walking around the lake and then kayaking the perimeter of the lake and getting the perspective of either side. We had a delicious meal at the Chesnut Inn across the lake and were happy to have a restaurant so nearby. Barbara is a gracious and kind host and we were well taken care of by her friend Kieran as she was out of town for the majority of the time of our stay. Something that we really appreciated were the tissues, toilet paper and paper towels that many rentals don't have enough of! Ellie the golden lab and the cats violet and the incredibly spry Spooky were a welcome bonus to our visit:)

The location was beautiful and the house was exactly what we needed for a weekend. I had a great experience and would recommend it to anyone.
