Our farm house gem is nestled on a spacious 5 acres with panoramic vistas of of West Sonoma. Set among apple and olive orchards, flower and veggie fields, with lots of room to picnic and play. Only 20 minutes to Tomales Bay or Bodega Bay, easy access to Sonoma wine region, it's hard to find a better-located and more relaxing work-from-home environment. The brand-new Farmhouse has an open "great room" with lofted ceilings and french doors opening our onto an enormous wrap-around deck, offering a free-flowing ambience and expansive views of the valley below. There's a master bedroom, as well as an office with a fold-out queen sofa and sliding doors for privacy, which doubles as our second bedroom. Our property is uniquely positioned on a hillside with four flat "piazzas" which consist of the Farm House and deck and greenhouse (where you will be staying), a shaded picnic area, a wildflower field, and the lower tomato field. The land is also home to active apple and olive orchards as well as dozens of kinds of seasonal veggies and fruits (some which may be harvested upon request).

We loved staying in this house- it had everything we needed, and the setting is beautiful. You can hear cows, turkeys and peacocks. Sunset hour was especially pretty. Great communication by hosts, everything went smoothly. Would highly recommended!

We can't wait to return! Being an architect, I can be somewhat picky about the places we stay. I can say without reservation that Renee & Scott have done an excellent job with their Petaluma farmhouse. It was exactly as described and EXACTLY what we were looking for for our Sonoma getaway. The location is remote and private, yet only 10-20 min. to Petaluma, Sebastopol, and Tomales Bay. When booking I was a bit concerned with privacy (as it is a working farm) but everyone who was on the property were extremely friendly and discreet. It is a wonderfully cozy place with all of the amenities we needed and Renee was extremely friendly and quick to respond in the few instances we had questions. We can't wait to return!

Such a special home and land. Felt very spacious, like home away from home. Beautiful view and stargazing. We enjoyed all of the creature comforts that made the space feel lived in, not an after thought like some airbnbs we have stayed in. Renee and Aaron were very welcoming and responsive and even picked us fresh produce from the garden. Already planning on coming back! Nastassia & Leo

West Sonoma is beloved for its beautiful pastoral setting and history of organic farming. Situated about 10 minutes northwest of downtown Petaluma, it's a short drive (15-30 mins) to excellent wineries, Sebastopol, Healdsburg, Santa Rosa, as well as Sonoma and Marin coast beaches and hiking trails. The house is in a semi-rural neighborhood with lots of space between neighbors.
