This property served us fine. There were a few things that could be improved. Namely, the blankets provided were woefully thin and not warm enough. There are no window coverings in the the upper bathroom and one of the bedrooms. The biggest issue was the lack of any shovel or other device for clearing the walkway, stairs, or deck, which we were told was our responsibility. Additionally, Vacasa’s communication on my request to have the stairs cleared as downright comical as they insisted numerous times that the shovel was in the garage (this property doesn’t have a garage). They never delivered the promised shovel and in the end, we ended up clearing the stairs with our feet and just being very careful using them. Outside of those things, the place was completely adequate.

We had a very nice stay at this cute little house. It is homey and has all the basic amenities. Great location in Carnelian Bay, and right across the road from the lake. Our kids liked the bonus swag upon arrival. The only complaint is the mattresses—they are as firm as can be, think like a thin futon on a board. They really need to be replaced. Other than that, it’s a great place for a family or family-plus-one.

We had quite a few issues: - We had stocked frozen foods in the freezer. And when we opened the next night we found that it wasn't freezing. ice cream had melted, meats and other foods got defrosted. All the food got wasted and we had to throw them away. And the following day we realized that even the fridge wasn't cooling and food that we had in that also got wasted. Despite paying more than $500 a night for this property we expected better. - In the kitchen, lot of dishes are chipped and cracked. Non stick pots and pans are very old and the coating is damaged and peeled and I am not sure if its safe too use. On the cooking range, one of the knobs was spinning and popping out. Out of caution we were not using one side of the range. It seemed like a fire hazard. - We had maintenance issues such as front door lock not working (it was fixed later), bedroom drawer face popped off, dining chair was broken. Also some basic kitchen and bath supplies were not there.
