We stayed in the giraffe Lodge for 2 nights Well equipped kitchen, hot tub was lovely, heated blankets in the bed were amazing. Also great to have a large fire pit and inside fire. Very peaceful, quiet and super cozy, especially staying in winter. Being what felt like the middle of nowhere also meant we could see so many stars! But when reading the description on the website of the giraffe Lodge there was some stuff that wasn't quite as expected. There were none of the "toiletries from the natural spa factory and also our homemade bath salts" just two bottles of tesco conditioner. With how much we spent definitely expected much more wood and firelighters. After the first night we were already completely out, so I had to pay extra money for the firepit, hot tub and indoor fire. Even that wasn't much and didn't come with kindling or fire starters. But overall it was definitely a lovely experience and not many places like it. We felt totally isolated, even though
Beautiful setting and very enjoyable stay. It was quite chilly until we got the fire going but once the fire was on it was great. Electric blankets on the beds were very cosy. We loved the hot tub and outdoor bbq. Would definitely return, thank you for a great weekend!

This place is great for the kids. Collecting wood, building fires, wildlife spotting, running around like crazy, being feral, getting tired and sleeping soundly. not a device in sight nor requested. 😃
This tent/ cabbin is lovely your tucked away down in a hole in the woods it's quiet and no other cabins are near you it was clean and tidy and the added bonus of a heated beds! Thanks for a our stay
