Laurie, was very attentive to making sure the entire experience was a memorable one. From the dark chocolates resting at the bed, to the hot tub already bubbling over the beautiful full moon and stars overhead. This magical place can soothe and heal as well as create the ideal space to connect with your partner.

This was a last minute trip for us and it was a blessing to find this location! It suited our needs perfectly and was lovely and quaint. Sunrise from the bedroom was gorgeous! And we loved seeing the wildlife in the fields in the evenings. The only super tiny complaint was that the kids wanted to use the hot tub after their bike event. It took an overnight (or maybe several hours?) to heat up, so a note on the excellent info sheet to mention that and we could have turned it on in the morning before we left so it was hot when we returned. However, we didn't think to look to see if it was hot either, so its partly on us too! We loved the space and it worked great for our needs and our dog. Plus, we only hit our head on the bathroom stairs a few times! Beds were comfy, place was clean & had any dishes we needed! If we get this way again, we will book again!

Laurie was awesome!! We went for a last minute little getaway. Booked on a Monday, arrived on a Thursday. Laurie was kind and accommodating. Check in/out was easy with clear directions. It felt more like staying at a friends. My boyfriend and I would stay here in a second again!!

Laurie was very responsive both before we arrived and after. The kitchen space is well equipped and she provided things throughout that (recently) we haven't come across in other AirBnBs, such as sugar to go along with the coffee and tea, bedding, towels, soaps (bathroom and kitchen), shampoo and conditioner. These items certainly made renting here attractive; perhaps she offers more because the home is rural. The location of the rental is convenient to Chestertown which is were we went for dinners and a play at the local playhouse. It should be noted that the picture in the listing is misleading. The rental space is attached to the pictured house in the rear. It is an old building and unfortunately, had a musty odor throughout despite the A/C being on when we arrived. It also has sulfur smelling water but filtered water at the kitchen sink for tea and coffee, which again, unfortunately, had a funny taste to us. No fault to Laurie, she has done a lot to renovate the home.
