Just past Bohemia Manor Farm is the newly opened Bohemia River State Park. A small entrance fee will get you to some nice hiking trails through forest and meadow areas with access to the river as well. In a short 10-minute drive north, you can find Chesapeake City where there are some great restaurants and cute shops along the C&D Canal. Take your bike and spend the day riding (or walking/running) the C&D Bike Trail that follows the canal. Or, if you are looking for some larger stores, 20 minutes away in Middletown, DE you can enjoy tax-free shopping. The drive there includes beautiful views of horse farms.
