My sister and I had a girls weekend at this cozy river cabin and had such a wonderful time! The neighbor hood was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the hot tub both nights and loved walking out onto the dock and actually saw a bald eagle fly right over us which was so cool! We got take out from Asian & Bistro which was fantastic and spent a few hours at Bohemia Manor Farm winery which had beautiful views. When we checked out we stopped at Chesapeake Inn for brunch which I would definitely recommend. Jess was great with communicating and her place was very clean and so welcoming. (I saw a review about the water smelling like sulfur which made me nervous but honestly it wasn’t bad at all. I did bring a gallon of spring water for drinking and the fridge has filter water too. Another thing is the “second bedroom” is part of the shared space but there is a full curtain/drape that you can pull across for complete privacy. Has the best view too!) Overall a great spot!

This was a lovely place for a weekend getaway. The hot tub was a great amenity to have on this chilly weekend. It was so relaxing. We also enjoyed going to nearby Chesapeake City.

Our stay at Jessica’s place perfectly matched our needs - a short getaway that felt like we were ‘elsewhere.’ The views out the sunroom window and from hot tub were like we had been dosed with peace and beauty. Really, really nice. It should be said that the drive from community entrance to the cottage might have you second-guessing your choice … but once in and settled, the place really shines - comfortable, well-appointed, quirky, fun, and a splendid view. Plenty of places nearby to hike, bike, and dine. Thanks Jessica for a delightful stay!

This river cottage was the perfect getaway spot! The views were amazing, the bedding was comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook, and the hot tub in the snow was very nice! We are definitely planning another trip here soon! :)

Jessica's place is the cutest escape! Everything is as described and was awesome overlooking the water. Great for a relaxing weekend getaway. Jessica is also super communicative and provided clear, easy instructions. Would recommend!
