Hi I'm Janette, I'll tell you a little about myself. I am a retired costume designer and TV presenter. I worked in Hollywood for MTV in the 80's then returned to the UK to continue my work in London. A chance encounter launched my 20 year presenter career on Lorraine Kelly, This Morning Good morning and Capitol woman . I gave up my career on the box when my son was 3, the two jobs didn't work well together. I retired to Dorset 7 years ago after falling in love with the area whilst on holiday myself and haven't regretted it once. I love walking the thousands of footpaths here, combing the beaches for fossils. Golf and circuit training are my new passions both of which can be done locally. Best of all , Dorset has amazing restaurants and I haven't tried them all yet, but there's plenty of time for that.
