Powder Days in Vermont and our charming inn is a perfect retreat for Vermont winter fun! The BBI is an easy drive to Bolton Valley, and less than an hour to Stowe and Sugarbush. We are also easy walking distance to Hinesburg restaurants, shops, and breweries. Interested in a special package (wine, cheese board, in room massage, brewery tour, booking the entire inn, etc) inquire about prices before booking. The Birch Sunrise room (room #2) is a charming and private room located on the second floor and east side of the inn. The room is light and airy and decorated with local art, hand nailed wide pine flooring, antique furniture and more. The room features a queen sized bed and private bathroom with a large tiled shower. One of four private rooms, this room is an upstairs room, accessible from the Inn's shared room and common space. The room has a small sitting area and offers a Serta folding sleeping couch for those traveling with children. There is a smart TV with all of the popular streaming apps, a one shot coffee maker, and we are proud to offer Lunaroma soaps and shampoos as well as Vermont's own Bag Balm skin care products. Our inn has a shared common room where you will find a fancy espresso/coffee/latte maker for your enjoyment, DVDs, games, and books. We also put out the occasional baked good and treats and offer a hot cocoa/tea station on those chilly Vermont days. We are located in town, but on an expansive 4 acre lot with walking paths, gardens, chickens and 3 resident goats (Gari, Perry and Ollie). Come enjoy all that we have to offer at a great rate.

This is our third time at the Birch and Berry and we can’t thank Mike enough for his hospitality and wonderful accommodations! And make sure you get some of his homemade sourdough bagels when you are there - they are delicious!
I enjoyed my stay!! Mike is amazing and his communication was spot-on. The BNB was squeaky clean just the way I like it! I appreciated the little added details. Like the M&Ms, robs, travel-size toiletries, and the treats in the morning! I also enjoyed visiting the goats. They were so cute. If I'm ever in the area again, I will stay for sure. I also loved that we were on the first floor, I would recommend requesting that! There was a snowstorm during our stay but Mike's place made us feel right at home.
We had a wonderful stay. Everything was extremely clean and it was clear that so much love and attention to detail was put into this place. It was a lovely, relaxing getaway. I highly recommend and would love to stay again!
Totally enjoyed staying at Mike's Inn. Got a really warm, comfortable feeling being there. Great for a quiet respite. Nice trails in the area and beyond for the outdoors types. Super comfortable room and nice common room with delicious baked goods provided both days by Mike! Loved our short stay here!
Such a great stay at the Inn! Was nice to have the comfy feeling of home and everything was so cozy and well thought out for the guests. We woke up to homemade bagels and donuts! There's complimentary coffee and hot chocolate whenever as well which is such a plus :) Mike was a great host and welcomed us kindly even for just the one night we were there. Would stay here again!

The Birch & Berry Inn is located in the Village of Hinesburg, Vermont. Our property is in a residential area, but has a rural feel as we are located on over 4 acres of open lawns, fields, and gardens adjacent to Patrick Brook. There is a sidewalk in front of the inn that allows for an easy walk to local shops, restaurants, schools, and more and makes for easy biking and running.
We have parking on-site for our guests and our property is adjacent to a wide sidewalk that will take you to the shops and restaurants and more. We are centrally located and within an easy drive to the Burlington International Airport (20 mins), Several ski areas (30 mins to 1 hour), recreational areas, and Lake Champlain.

My name is Mike. I live with my wife Vicki, our 16 year old daughter Alex, and our family dog Ellie in Hinesburg, Vermont. We own and operate a small inn, the Birch & Berry Inn in Hinesburg and we have a beautiful cabin, Camp Timberock, in the Saranac Lake area of the Adirondacks. We love hosting travelers from all over the world and enjoy sharing our experiences and advice on things to do in the Adirondacks and Vermont.
