Mary is an absolutely INCREDIBLE host! She is super responsive, very friendly, goes above and beyond and I felt completely at home. Her house is spotless and she adds so many touches to ensure your stay is great. The area is perfect for runners, cyclists, and hikers and I just couldn’t get over how beautiful my walks were! Also, she is super close to the main square with tons of restaurants, pubs, cafes, and shops. The room was huge, clean, and the bed was super comfy! All in all, I HIGHLY recommend Mary’s place if you are planning to stay in the Castlewellan area!

Mary is a very hospitable person. Mary was quick to respond and extremely helpful with getting my stay sorted. Nothing was too much for her, and went above and beyond with everything. The house is very clean and comfortable, has everything you need and more. A great location with loads to see and do. I would definitely recommend a stay here!

After a long day of hiking in the mountains, Mary's house looked like heaven! Warm, tidy, conveniently located. Despite my late arrival, Mary met me personally and gave me a tour of her home. Very comfortable room, bed, bathroom and kitchen with everything you need. Everything extremly clean and accurate! A pleasant conversation with the owners was a good end to the day. Would love to stay there again and highly recommend this place!
