Rustic - relating to the countryside; made in a plain and simple fashion. It definitely fits this definition. If you are looking for peaceful, quiet, and returning for a moment to a time when things were much simpler, this is the place. The house appears to still be mostly all of how it was originally built. Lots of history and tools and paintings on the walls from yester-year. If your there in the spring, fall, or winter, you won't wonder why the heaters are positioned so close to the beds once the sun goes down. A few miles away is Falls Campground which appears to be not well known and a not publicized waterfall, that you MUST go see while in the area, 11 miles away. We happened upon it while travelling one afternoon. Interested to rent and check out the upstairs as well on a future visit. Highly recommend this location if staying in the area for any reason or looking for a weekend vacation in the country.

Remote location, pricey for what it is but has a good amount of land and a private lake in the back

I just would like to thank you for sharing your charming family generational home .❤️ we were here to celebrate our beautiful baby’s sister Kim Thomason’s life and the beautiful family gathering in the area it had been 34 years since we were all together there .. as sad as the occasion was I think we all laughed more than cried ❤️ wonderful energy in this home !!we will stay again for sure!!!!

We needed a last minute stay and found the romantic cabin! The house is full of history and took you back in time. We rented the entire bottom and it had everything we needed. The property is quiet and lots of space to do many outdoor activities! We will be coming back to this wonderful getaway!

Kaycee is a wonderful host. We had a small group come to stay at her home and we had a great time and loved the home and property. Highly recommend checking out and staying here.
