We called this place the Shire because of the beautiful mossy and enchanted forest around it. What a beautiful home and location nestled in the forest only 30 mins from Victoria. It’s close to the ferry terminal which made for a no fuss exit. It also has a nice winery and lovely access points to the beach for lovely walks and sunset drinks. Aranza and family were wonderful!

We really enjoyed our stay with Aranza! Beautiful suite and she was friendly and accommodating the entire stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Aranza is an exceptional air bnb host - she is very responsive, friendly, provided recommendations in the area and the space is beautiful. The neighborhood is wonderful, with plenty of walking trails and lookouts as well as cute cafes within a short drive. It’s about a 10 minute drive from Sidney and under an hour to Victoria. Also very close to the airport. The space looks exactly as it does in the pictures - very nicely designed, clean, full kitchen (which we often cooked in) and super cozy for a night in watching tv as well. There’s definitely noise from upstairs but, knowing we were working from the space during the day, Aranza always went out of her way to take her kids out for the day so we could have quiet while we worked. They were very considerate and always tried their best to keep the noise at a minimum which we were very appreciative of. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in a stunning area of the island.

Aranza's place was a peaceful retreat in a lovely neighborhood. The entire experience was excellent from start to finish. She provided very clear instructions on how to find her place and was very welcoming on our arrival. The space is well curated and clean and had all the amenities we needed for our family. The beds were cozy, the linens were great and the kitchen was well stocked. The coffee bar was a nice touch. We appreciated the local suggestions and there is lots to do in the area. We loved the big trees and rural feel of the place. If you are planning on a visit to Sydney, Deep Cove or Victoria we recommend you stay here!
