Very nice breach house. Clean and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen with everything easy to find. Short walk to beach. Will definitely stay here again.

Very nice well equipped beach house in a quiet, laid back neighborhood. Jim was a great host and very responsive. We stayed several nights and did a lot of cooking (mostly local fish and shrimp from Buddy's) at home because many of the eating establishments in Matagorda were closed during the off-season. The kitchen and bathroom are well designed and have most everything you might need. The beach is wide and beautiful and it's also the best place to avoid the mosquitos! We enjoyed our stay and appreciated having our pup with us. Thank you Jim!

This was a very quiet place since it was off-season which was exactly what we needed. The view is wonderful and we really enjoyed relaxing in the rocking chairs on the front porch. We also sat inside a few days and looked out the many windows which was fabulous. The old stove wasn't there, so that wasn't an issue. The kitchen was well-stocked and there wasn't anything we found missing. Unfortunately, someone had put up dirty pots, pans, and dishes so we felt the need to wash everything before we used it. The bed wasn't the worst we've had, but we tend to like a little softer mattress. It was pretty squeaky so being a lite sleeper, it was a challenge to rest really well. The shower was great and plenty of hot water. Jim was very responsive no matter what we requested. He was very flexible and let us check out late when I had a meeting called at the last minute that I needed to attend virtually. All in all, this was a great place to stay if you're hanging out at the beach.
