My sister and I spent several nights at the Ortley Oasis. The house was perfect for us- it was clean, had everything we needed, was beautifully updated, was close to all the activities we wanted to do, and had great views of the bay. We walked the boardwalks in Lavallette and Seaside, went up to Spring Lake, did a little shopping, ate at a few great local restaurants.... It was off season, so there was little traffic or activity in the area- just what we wanted for a relaxing and quiet few days. Christopher kept in touch with us to check if we had everything we needed. If we ever come to the Ortley Beach area again, we would stay again at Christopher and Joanna's place.

We always pick a place near the jersey shore to go away for our annual anniversary trip and this place was the perfect little spot. Exactly as described. Chris was a wonderful host, we couldn’t find a can opener in the kitchen for our dogs food and he had one sent by Amazon, delivered the next day to the home. The PacMan arcade game on the wall was a huge hit with our daughter (and us). We also had some crazy weather due to the storms and apparent earthquake and Chris was always checking in and letting us know the weather/flooding possibilities proactively. The house felt very clean and beautiful views of the bay. If we were to visit during the warmer months there was a really nice hangout spot below the house that would have been fun to enjoy. Thank you Chris for being such a great host, we would absolutely come back and stay here.

Christopher’s home was absolutely beautiful, inside and out. Clean, orderly and everything we needed was supplied. Christopher was in touch with us throughout our stay, checking in on us, just in case we needed anything. Future guests need no worry about this home and location. It was everything we expected and more. We know you’ll enjoy this house as much as we did!!

The home was even more beautiful in person than the pictures-spacious, clean, great location. The view was spectacular! It was the perfect relaxing getaway even during off season, so I can only imagine how it would be during the summer. There are lots of outdoor seatings including an egg swing chair and hammock with gorgeous outdoor lighting. We had complimentary coffee, wine, and all the supplies we needed for our stay plus more. They even gave us pillows and blankets since we were coming from out of state. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. They even offered to extend our check out if we needed to. We enjoyed our stay and had a great time with our families down the shore. We cannot wait to come back for our next visit and we would love to stay here again.

We were looking for a few days’ change of scenery and the scenery did not disappoint! Water views on three sides! The whole experience was seamless, the house fit our needs perfectly, and Chris couldn’t have been more responsive!
