The moment we walked in, we felt at ease and like we had entered the peaceful retreat space we wanted and needed. The cabin was perfect, so comfortable and clean offering great amenities but not overwhelming. Valerie was quick to respond to our message and was a delight to work with. This will not be the last time we book the cabin.

Every detail was paid attention to. The house was clean and ready for guests. There we a number of "extra" items at the house in case you forgot anything like toothpaste, toothbrush, a razor or deodorant. There were also a hand full of dog toys and a spare leash for guests to use. The back yard overlooked a green of a golf course and while we stayed in the house it snowed creating an absolutely stunning backdrop through the spacious windows on the rear of the home. My children enjoyed the bunk beds and the playroom closet in the adjoining room and requested to take some of the safari/exploration toys with them when we ventured out for supplies. The home was located fairly close to the main area of the resort where there are ample dining and snow sport options. We did not take advantage of either of those things on this trip but could easily have done so thanks to the online house book that provided us with links and phone numbers for all of the area attractions.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. Castor Cabin is fantastic. This is by far my favorite house we have rented through airbnb in this area. Our kids were crying the last night we were there because they did not want to leave, and just wanted to move in. This place is just as wonderful as the pictures depict. I highly recommend staying here.

Our first stay at an Airbnb did not disappoint! The cabin was exactly as described. It was very clean and comfortable and suited our needs perfectly. Valerie was extremely helpful and responsive. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!!

This was our second stay at the Castor Cabin and definitely not our last. Valerie’s mountain house is secluded enough to have your privacy but close enough to the resort, the trails and the golf course. With four active children and two dogs that need to get their wiggles out, the house has everything you could ask for. From the upstairs game room, to the basketball courts outside, to the half mile hike leading to mountain views, this place has it all. The furnishings are superb and the home beautifully decorated. If you and your family plan to stay at Wintergreen Resort, look no further than the Castor Cabin.
