We absolutely loved staying at the Belafonte! The house was bright, clean, and comfortable. The layout worked great for our family and we enjoyed many books and games. The kitchen was stocked with far more pantry items than we expected, and the hosts even left Easter baskets for our kids. We’ve been to the Outer Banks many times, but this was our first trip to Salvo. The beach was an only a short walk, and coming through the cedar trees onto a natural coast was magical. We also enjoyed a local restaurant where we were able to watch kite surfers jump in the air as the sun set. We would love to come and stay again!!!

Great stay in a great space. Very clean and usable. Kitchen and living area on the upper level was a favorite.

We loved our stay in Salvo. Dawn was a fantastic host who answered our questions and gave recommendations. The home is well cared for, clean, and had great amenities. We will absolutely be back!!! ty!

We went for a family vacation. The house was perfect for us and matched its description. I was skeptical about booking at Salvo as most folks go to Kill devils or Nags head, but I didn’t have to worry at all. Beach access is walkable, slightly longer to our liking, but definitely not a deal breaker. Apart from the beach, we were able to jet ski, did dolphin tours and did parasailing which were all very close by. Dawn was very responsive and we got all our answer within 5 minutes. Thank you, Dawn. We will be visiting Belafonte again.
