Our stay was incredible! The home is comfortable and well set up and the location is perfect. It's secluded enough for quiet relaxation and stargazing, but an easy 15 min drive into town. Daniel and Kaycee turned us on to some lovely trails near the house, but the absolute highlight of the trip was the dog sledding adventure we booked with them. These are wonderful hosts. One note for travelers who need strong wifi - you may want to pack a booster if you need to do more than basic browsing during your stay. We were looking forward to being offline and a much-needed digital detox so the fact that my son couldn't get games to load was a gift. We hope to return soon!!

If you are looking for a place where you don’t have to travel at night to see the Aurora, this is it! It’s not too far from Fairbanks, but far enough that you have a dark sky. You can see so many stars. And when the lights come out, you have such an amazing view! There is plenty of room in the house, and the bedrooms are spacious. It has a nice large yard, perfect for playing in the snow. The internet service is not the fastest, but you are on vacation after all, so unplug and enjoy all the area has to offer! If you need faster internet, Ivory Jack’s is very close by and there’s a Barnes & Noble a short drive away in Fairbanks. Kaycee and Daniel were awesome and responded quickly to all of our questions. We enjoyed dog sledding with them, too! That was a highlight of our trip, second only to seeing a beautiful display of the Northern Lights! We would definitely stay there again if we returned to Fairbanks. Thank you, Kaycee and Daniel!

Beautiful cabin tucked away in the woods, but the supermarket, drugstore, restaurants, and Murphy Dome are still nearby. We lucked out and got great Aurora views. A moose strolled close to the cabin and lingered so we got fantastic photographs! Beautiful views from all the windows particularly the master bedroom. Comfortable bed and nice shower. We are looking forward to coming in the winter to enjoy other activities like dog sledding. The owners are amiable and reply immediately via text.

We really enjoyed our visit to Fairbanks and Kaycee’s place was perfect! It is away from town so not close to restaurants and amenities but the trade off was privacy and dark so that when the Aurora showed up on our first night it was easy to see even with a bright moon. You could stay inside and enjoy it from the window of the main bedroom or go outside onto the deck. This was a little difficult due to snow covering the deck but you could get out and look. We would stay again. They also run a Dog sledding company which specializes in at risk youth and will arrange a tour for you. I would do this if you can it was great! You can mush on your own sled, ride as a passenger or stand behind the guide. Thanks guys for the experience. We had my wife’s cousin with us, who is from Thailand, and to go from never seeing snow to riding on a dog sled was a great experience for her.
