My husband and I rented this place down the street from us for an elderly couple. It's a beautiful home with wooded surroundings. Kate was an awesome host that made special treats daily for our friends.
My mom and I stayed with Kate and Francis for a few days. It was wonderful, as always. I’m a returning guest because Kate provides such a easy-going atmosphere. She’s so generous with her home and amenities. We felt right at home. One of the best parts of this spot is the location! It’s right next to forest trails, perfect for hiking. Very quiet and safe.
Kate was amazing! She was a kind, compassionate host which made our stay very comfortable. She made a wonderful blueberry cobbler that she was happy to share. Francis was a great host too. He’s very gentle and loves humans. We would definitely stay again!

I've traveled to many destinations and experienced amazing adventures. My home is Eugene. When you spend some time here, you'll know why. I moved here from Colorado to attend Graduate School at the University of Oregon. I met my (former) husband, raised our kids; and here I am 30 years and 3 grown children later. That's why I gave the name "The Linger Longer" to my Air BnB listing. I 'lingered longer' in Eugene; and most people I know do too! I LOVE the lifestyle here. A wonderful community in a beautiful natural environment, I enjoy great friends, fresh local organic food, yoga, meditation, hiking, biking; skiing in winter, surfing in summer. I find the Oregon Coast line one of the most beautiful scenic coastal experiences in the world. Add that to miles of gorgeous hiking trails I literally step out my door to enjoy daily...I'm in HEAVEN!
