Beautiful place. Incredibly private and very secluded. If you want to hole up away from the world for a bit, this is the perfect spot for it. The trip started rough as a storm a few days prior had hidden the entrance of the very steep, very narrow dirt road to get to the cabin with fallen trees, as well as covered certain stretches of it in tree branches we had to get out and move, but once we made it past all that, the cabin was perfect. It warmed up very quickly for being the middle of winter after a snow storm, the kitchen had everything we needed, the living room was comfortable, the shower hot, and the bedroom cozy. The wifi was strong, able to stream Netflix on the TV and keep us connected on our phones. The host responded to our messages quickly and was very friendly. And the river sounds, quiet, and peace of the location cannot be overstated. Just an incredible place. I look forward to staying here again in the future, maybe seeing what it's like in summer. Carolyn’s home exceeded all of our expectations. The home is perfectly located so that we truly felt like we were secluded the entire time we were there. Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the rushing river below and waking up to a stunning view of the surrounding forest made for an incredible experience. The inside of her home is beautifully to make it feel cozy and welcoming but also had all the modern amenities one could want. We will definitely be returning in the future.

What a beautiful setting I found myself in at Carolyn’s cabin! The cleaning crew was just leaving when I arrived so I got a personalized tour and they made sure I knew how to operate the lockbox etc. My dog and I enjoyed hiking around the property and going down to the river. We sat on the huge boulders in the sun and simply chilled. The cabin was perfect for us. I don’t cook much so I was thrilled to have a microwave. The kitchen is well stocked as are the bathroom and bedroom. Since it’s the season for shorter days so I appreciated having satellite TV. I honestly enjoyed my stay and hope to go back next summer.

This place was an amazing spot. It's rustic, secluded, and free of light pollution. You are able to see the stars. The driveway is an idyllic drive, but definitely not made for anything larger than a minivan. It has really tight turns and turning around was stressful. Hearing the stream was such a fantastic way to wake up. I do wish there were some curtains, but not too much of a huge deal. We did have some issues but they were fixed easily and our stay was wonderful. I really loved the bidet and how fast the water heated up. It's one of those places where you want to snuggle up on the couch read a book and have the fireplace going. Forwarning it does get quite cold in the spring and fall at night so just be prepared with warm clothes. We'd definitely stay again.

We had another fantastic stay in Carolyn's lovely cabin. The location is perfect, and we'd recommend it to anyone.
