De reden van mijn verblijf was minder leuk, namelijk de uitvaart van een echtgenoot van een vriendin. Maar het verblijf in het appartement was perfect. Centraal gelegen, alles goed bereikbaar, rustige omgeving, eet appartement is heel compleet ingericht. Ik had al eerder geboekt, maar moest door familie omstandigheden cancelen. Gabriella was toen zeer coulant en begripvol. Geen moment spijt dat ik alsnog naar hen gekomen ben. Vrienden die in de buurt in een hotel zaten waren jaloers op mijn accomodatie.

Nous avons passé un bon séjour dans ce logement atypique et confortable. Il est idéalement situé avec un accès à la mer par un sentier. Gabriella nous a bien accueilli avec bcp de bienveillance et d’attention. Communication aisée et est très réactive. Je conseille ce logement.

This is our second visit to this lovely apartment, communication and check-in were just perfect again. Gabriella and Salvo are so helpful with any information or help you require. We visited during Carnival and they sent all the details we needed to really enjoy the festivities to the full. The apartment is beautiful and spotlessly clean, with everything that you could possibly need (and more!). It is located in the old town of Acireale with a really lovely local feel, with lots of cafes, bars and restaurants just a short walk away. We would highly recommend it and we hope to stay again.

We are AirB&B owners and this was one of the most unique apartments we have ever stayed in: double vaulted ceilings, and the bathroom carved out of exposed stone. Our landlords were excellent communicators and the place was very clean and thoughtfully equipped. Most helpful was securing drivers and taxis for us: with their help we were able to go up Etna and to smoothly get to our flight at the Catania airport. Besides climbing up Etna, we loved walking the path down to the small fishing village of San Maria de la Scola , where we enjoyed a delicious meal of fresh seafood at La Grotta at an outdoor table overlooking the Mediterranean.

We had a great stay at Gabriella’s beautiful house and all the little extras made it feel like home. She had really thought of everything and was so helpful. There was a lovely small outside terrace with a hint of a sea view; we loved to to sit out there and watch the sunrise. Communication and check-in were super easy. The location in the old town was very convenient. We will stay again.
