The house was a good size for our family. We had 8 adults staying, to celebrate my mother’s 90th. It was lovely being out in the country surrounded by paddocks with horses. While the kitchen was large, it was lacking in plates (only 7 dinner plates), wine glasses (none) and cutlery. When I raised this with the host, they arranged for some wine glasses and cutlery to be delivered which was much appreciated. There were also no platters or salad bowls to use. The pool desperately needed cleaning and the spa was cold. We were advised where the switch was and it was warm by the next day. While the location and size of the property was great, for the cost we were expecting a cleaner property in better condition than it was. It was all just a bit tired which was disappointing.
