This is a lovely home with many thoughtful touches. Bjorn and Elaine are warm hosts who make you feel very comfortable.

Elaine and Biorn are warm and welcome. Their place is cute and spacious. There are multiple rooms for guests to stay and hang out. We used their fire pit one night, had great time. They are also very accommodating for guests requests. Breakfast is delicious and have a lot of varieties with healthy choices. We will definitely come back if we return the area. Strongly recommend.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Bjorn and Elaine. Lovely home, bedroom and grounds. Enjoyed meeting and spending time with our gracious hosts. Hope to return soon.

We LOVED our stay! Bjorn and Elaine are great hosts, very friendly. We were there for an extended stay and felt like family by the time we left. Plus, the house and gardens are beautiful! I love the clean contemporary farmhouse decor and quirky stairs and rooms. Fun! The rooms are spacious and bright too, which is nice. They also have plenty of space to relax, read, socialize or play games. During our stay, we enjoyed board games in the kitchen and the tavern room, played darts in the she shed, explored the garden and chilled in the hammock/adirondacks. We also visited Sculptured Rocks, poked around the nearby towns’ artisan shops, found some good local eats (The Big Catch, Bridgewater Tavern—upstairs has a younger vibe, Cielitos, Purple Pit coffee shop/sandwiches, Yamas, Biederman’s Deli), and of course, the ice cream at Idle a While is delicious! (If you like black raspberry, there’s is amazing.) Can’t say enough good things about this place. Highly recommend!
