Lac Baker, New Brunswick, Canada is a beautiful destination for both winter and summer activities, just over the US border of Maine and the border of Quebec. Fishing, ATVing, snowmobiling, skiing, swimming, boating are just some of the things to be enjoyed in the area and the cottage is a beautiful retreat to relax in after a days activities or just to hang out. The backyard may be small but the front yard is the whole lake for you to enjoy. What could be better than that? Our 1600 square foot cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, cozy bedrooms, beautiful large bathroom with soaker tub, shower and washer/dryer and is the perfect place for a family/friends vacation. Three bedrooms, one with a King size bed, one with a Queen size bed and one with a Queen size Murphy bed. Living room has a propane fireplace and a 55” TV (Apple TV and internet provided) and there is a fully enclosed gazebo that allows dining for 6, as well. We have recently added a portable air conditioning unit that has been very helpful during the hot and humid summer days. A 17’ canoe and a Stand Up Paddleboard are provided for your pleasure. We do provide some life jackets, as well but if a specific size is necessary, you may want to bring your own. (Please do make use of the life jackets for your safety and peace of mind). Things to note: 1. In the winter, a 4 WHEEL DRIVE vehicle is a must since the hill down to the cottage is quite steep and can be slippery. 2. There is an ACTIVE TRAIN TRACK behind the cottage. Mostly during the day (3 or 4 times) but have occasionally experienced them late at night or early morning. 3. This is NOT a PARTY place. It is set up for up to 6 guests and to be respectful to our neighbours on either side, we ask that you keep the noise down after 10 pm. There is a grocery store and a home hardware about 15 minutes away in Clair Parish or for more major stores, Edmunston is only 35 minutes away.
