Wonderful family home in a private peaceful location. Not far from local shops and lovely bungalow with large garden and clean heated outdoor swimming pool. Nicely kitted out kitchen with all utensils and cutlery. Both Rosangh & Antony were amazing hosts. I can't recommend highly enough!

The property advertises a heated pool, but it's only heated in the morning, and the pool filter also operates during limited hours(07-13). The pool was neither clean nor warm for most of our stay, falling short of our expectations. The pool was completely unusable on the first day due to an unprepared and unsanitary condition. We had to wait for the host to come and prepare it for us, and we couldn't use it until 8 pm. With only one shower for eight people and no outdoor shower, maintaining cleanliness became challenging. What's more, the bathroom's carpeted flooring proved problematic, and we were shocked when the host attempted to charge us for the wet bathroom carpet. The trampoline and playground were in poor condition upon our arrival, and we had to clean them. Wardrobes and the freezer was entirely occupied, leaving us with limited storage space. The plastic kettle provided was of low quality and did not match the advertised photo. There were insufficient towels available.

Lovely home and location. Some things were a bit dated but there was everything we needed. Unfortunately the UK weather wasn’t on our side and the pool wasn’t as heated as I expected which was a shame as the pool was the selling point for choosing this home. The pool was also very hard to clean of leaves and may not have been done before we arrived but due to the over hanging trees it would make it impossible to keep it clear but we made do. Rosanagh was extremely helpful and responsive when we had the odd query. Big enough for 4 adults and 5 children and it was nice there were separate rooms / playroom, and the garden was lovely, although the playground could do with updating and bushes trimming back due to brambles. We didn’t attempt to use the trampoline but again the trees that overhang must make it difficult to maintain. Overall we had a lovely time and everything you need is at the house and it was clean and tidy.

We had a lovely week, even with the less than summery weather some of the days. It is a great spot for a family holiday and the kids made themselves at home quickly and made good use of the books and toys available. There was plenty of space for 5 of us, and the gardens and heated pool were perfect for relaxing. There are lovely walks in the area and the nearby town had all the basic services we need. Thanks for a great stay!

It was an absolute treat to stay in such a beautiful and well-equipped home as this one. Having private access to the entire home - including the pool - felt like a difficult-to-find luxury. Rosanagh is absolutely delightful, never bothered by requests and very quick to respond. She provided great local pub recommendations and advice on walks. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.
