This was our 2nd stay and not our last! We love this house! It’s so cozy, comfy, nicely decorated, and it was perfect for our group of 8 friends. 100% recommend this place! Veronica is super responsive, helpful, and accommodating! Thank you for another incredible stay!

We had the most wonderful Thanksgiving weekend at Veronica’s home. It was cozy (especially with the fire places!) but with many areas for 7 of us to spread out and not feel crowded. It has amazing vintage furniture, most incredible dining room for family meals, and a sauna to boot! Veronica is a communicative and very generous host - with her beautiful belongings, fire wood, and supplies. While the house is in a wooded, private, very quiet area there is a great coffee shop, Walgreens and cute vintage shops within 15 minutes drive from the house, and a fully stocked supermarket just a shade further, so we got the best of both worlds. It was a privilege to be able to stay in a home so beautifully decorated and personal. We felt very much at home and it’s a trip we’ll all remember.

Our second stay as a group at The Slowstead. We love this place. It’s the most beautiful and peaceful location for a weekend getaway with a big group. Veronica is very responsive. Everything was clean and as described. Lots to do in the area within driving distance. Looking forward to coming back :)

Had a great long weekend at Veronica's home. The house was clean and comfortable, with a functional and well-stocked kitchen, THREE living rooms, three large bedrooms and one small loft bedroom. It fit our group of 11 friends and provided us with lots of space and privacy, and lots to do in the surrounding area. Veronica was a responsive and friendly host. We did have one issue during our stay - the water stopped running during our last morning at the house due to a power outage. Thankfully, we were leaving soon and Veronica was very responsive. She immediately offered to send someone to try to fix it and gave us a small refund for the inconvenience.
