Our family had a wonderful two-night stay at this beautifully furnished, historic home. Loved the holiday decorations and twinkle lights throughout the house, complimentary goodies, and coffee/tea station with an an amazing selection of flavored k-cups, tea, and mugs. If you want to do some cooking (as I did for my family), the kitchen is top-notch and has everything you could possibly need. A large dining room table and chairs, tablecloth, and high-end tableware made for memorable and lovely mealtimes. Alice and Clinton were super-helpful and available, and even had a pack-n-play and booster seat ready for our baby when we got there. We arrived after dark, followed Alice's straightforward directions for parking behind the house and had no trouble at all. Highly recommend this unique and comfortable home!

I visited Lynchburg for my daughter's wedding. Alice & Clinton's place was nice, a little on the old side but I liked that. Can use a few upgrades but the stay was great. Home was clean and neat. My only problem was the entrance and exit of the home. I arrived pretty late and the entrance instructions was very confusing until we took a chance and drove around back of the house which took about an hour to figure out. Was very frustrating since I drove for 3 1/2 hours from Maryland. The parking was not too good either around the back where the entrance was especially if you have a big SUV as I do. We also kept locking ourselves out of the house because any normal person would lock their doors from habit but the exit door only required to lock the keypad, that was also frustrating. Alice and Clinton eventually responded to my many calls and texts in which it was very late and understandable. Other than that really enjoyed my stay.

What a cool, funky, fun, unique place!! Quite a gem just miles from downtown Lynchburg. I love old houses and the charm it brings. Hosts were terrific in there communications. I would definitively come back!!

What a delight! Lots of space and great location. We loved the fire pit and cooking for my family in the well stocked kitchen. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions and were very helpful. The house was so clean and comfortable. Can’t wait to return!
