The cottage had everything we needed. The gas fireplace kept it super cozy. The kitchen was fully stocked and even came with microwave popcorn. The bed was comfortable and the screened in porch was great since it was raining. We even did a load of laundry since we were camping in the rain the night before. The cottage is close to some really great trails, the location was perfect for us. Would definitely stay here again when visiting this area.

This place was perfect for our needs. It was quiet and pet friendly. It was in a great location. Very close to the blue ridge parkway. Would stay again!

Jennifer was a fantastic host, responding very fast and just an overall understanding and friendly person. If you need anything, she is more than happy to help, and in a timely matter at that. The house was just as the pictures suggested, the only downfall we found was the surrounding area. The place is great, just not what we had in mind for our dog. The house is surrounded by plants and trees, giving some privacy, but there are houses directly beside, in front, and behind the property. Neighbors were super quiet and very friendly, our big pup just needed a little more room, due to his anxiousness with strangers. Had a scare at one point with a neighbors big dog wondering into the yard, but that was a one time incident. Overall, the property was great, being clean, conveniently stocked with necessities, and owned by very friendly hosts.
