The cottage was very cosy and homely. Everything was good quality, very clean and well presented. We are familiar with York, but for anyone visiting for the first time it would make an ideal base. The park and ride is not far away. Would definitely stay again.

We've had a lovely few days at Beverly's place, it's a beautiful cottage in a really nice quiet area with a lovely private garden. The shop is only a few metres away and there are two lovely pubs also within a short walk which serve really nice food at affordable prices. You can take a walk to the river where there is a nice restaurant called 'Bosuns' where you can sit outside and enjoy a few glasses of wine. It's only a short journey into York itself, the bus stop is near to the cottage but we got an Uber which was approximately £6.00 and well worth the cost.

We loved staying here! It was super warm, cosy and had everything we needed. Beverly was also really quick to reply when we were communicating pre- and during check-in. There are a couple of nice pubs in the village too and lots of nice walks around.
