Katherine’s house was absolutely superb in every way – truly 5 star and by far the best AirBnB we have stayed in. Beds were comfortable, showers were excellent, the whole house was spotless and new, facilities were second to none, wifi signal was good – Katherine’s attention to detail was amazing. Location is super quiet and peaceful with lovely views of the loch and huge picture windows to look out on to the scenery as we had breakfast. The house is in a very remote part of the island, but there is a small but quite well stocked shop in Glendale, just a 10 minute drive away. The road leading to the property is narrow with many potholes (as is the case with many of the smaller roads on Skye), but there are plenty of passing places.

We had an amazing time. This is a beautiful property. Very homely. A bit remote but that was exactly what we were looking for. Only thing is the washing machine was out of order when we were there. If that gets fixed it would be perfect!

Haus Husabot ist sehr schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, alles vorhanden was man braucht, WLAN ebenfalls sehr gut. Lage sehr ruhig und alleine, daher leider viel zu fahren wenn man alle Sehenswürdigkeiten auf der Insel ansehen will. Ist es aber wert im Vergleich zu anderen Häusern. Haus war sehr sauber und ordentlich, Küche hat alles was man für ein paar Tage braucht, sehr nett war auch das Willommenspaket. Alles in allem super Unterkunft.

Beautifully appointed home with all the amenities one could ask for - and some thoughtful extras! Very quiet area - great for a private romantic weekend. A bit out of the way and they required a 5-day minimum (we had planned on spending only 3 or 4 days in Skye) - but we booked late and had very few options so we were kind of forced to stay the full 5. No regrets though - the accommodation was warm and charming and Skye is spectacular.
